- Is ProfitTool a truly MS Windows™ based system?
- Yes, there are no special hardware or software requirements for ProfitTool. All that is needed is a standard MS Windows™ network.
- Does ProfitTool provide an elaborate but easy to maintain customer pricing matrix?
- Yes, ProfitTool has an easy to maintain, but very elegant pricing system, which provides matrix options based on pricing tiers, list less a discount and/or cost plus pricing triggered by customer type and/or individual customer coupled with Product Line and/or individual product.
- Can I finally eliminate the cost of specialized business forms?
- Yes, ProfitTool allows all business documents with their associated graphics to be rendered on standard laser printers.
- Many of the systems I have seen require additional fees for the bar coding modules, what about ProfitTool?
- All of the bar coding utilities for receiving, shipping and inventory cycle counting are included in the base ProfitTool software license.
- What will ProfitTool do to assist my inventory management task?
- The ProfitTool Item Demand Forecasting and Automatic Purchasing utilities incorporate the necessary controls to dramatically assist in your inventory management tasks. You can refer to our ProfitTool White Paper for more detail.
- Can the files from my old system be imported into ProfitTool?
- ProfitTool operates on a standard open database structure (ODBC), and in only rare cases have we not been able to electronically convert your most important data from an older legacy system into ProfitTool.
- What about the Drop Ship and Special Products that we sell?
- ProfitTool has special utilities that flow the sales transactions for drop shipments and special items into the purchasing module. From there. ProfitTool will maintain the cross referencing of these transactions until they are completed. You can refer to our ProfitTool White Paper for more detail.
- Can ProfitTool accommodate the electronic price and cost updates I receive from my vendors?
- Yes, ProfitTool has an “Excel file template”, which accepts the pricing and costing data from your vendors and uploads that information directly into the inventory file.
- With postage and handling prices continuing to rise, can ProfitTool help eliminate those operational costs?
- Yes, ProfitTool has a built in faxing and e-mailing delivery system for quotations, sales orders, purchase orders, invoices and customer statements.
